Christoffer Cederstrand

Christoffer Cederstrand is a qualified subject teacher specialising in pop/rock, trained at the Malmö Academy of Music. He is an active musician who plays in the Gothenburg-based bands Sacred and Katana, with which he has played and toured in both Sweden and Europe. Christoffer is a musician and teacher at home in many genres, teaching several styles such as pop, rock, jazz and blues.

He has taken part in projects together with prominent artists such as Svante Thuresson, Georg Riedel, Rigmor Gustafsson, Sofia Kjellgren, Samuel Ljungblahd, Roger Pontare and Viktoria Tolstoy. These experiences have given him a deep understanding of the many forms of musical expression and an ability to adapt his teaching to the needs and goals of each student.

Christoffer has experience of teaching both children and adults and adapts his teaching to the wishes and circumstances of the individual. His teaching philosophy is built on making the most of the student's interests and goals, and on creating an engaging and inspiring learning environment. By offering structured and supportive teaching, he helps his students develop both technical skill and musical understanding.

Christoffer also leads a guitar ensemble for children as well as pop/rock and blues ensembles for children and adults. He strives to give the youngest students a positive and stimulating start to their musical journey through playful and educational activities.

At Malmö Musikskola, the way Christoffer teaches reflects the values of the school: high-quality, committed education. His broad repertoire and passion for music make him a valuable resource for students who want to explore different styles of music and develop their skills.
